I come from a family of educators. My mother teach is a second-grade, and my father is the vice principal of the middle school. The value of education has been instilled in me throughout my life. I went to Thomas Edison State University for my bachelor's degree in English, and I'm currently working as an intervention specialist in an elementary school. I'm also a writer and tutor, and I love to help students of all ages understand subjects they have difficulty with. My students become confident in their abilities is very rewarding to me, and I'm excited to have a positive impact on every student I work with. I'm comfortable working with students at all levels of ability, including those with special needs. I've had the opportunity to work with students with ADHD, autism, vision impairment, and other issues that make learning more of a challenge, but I excel in helping the students figure out how they learn best so they can find success. I tutor students in English, reading, writing, chemistry, literature, adult literacy, elementary school math, geometry, algebra, essay writing and editing, middle school math, test preparation, and more. In my spare time, I like weightlifting, running, doing yoga, hiking, playing sports, watching sports, reading, attending museums, following fashion, traveling, listening to music, watching movies, and more.
